GRI (Global Reporting Initiative)

World's most widely used voluntary sustainability reporting standard.

The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) was founded in 1997 and is the most widely adopted voluntary sustainability reporting standard. GRI standards are organised thematically (Universal, Sector, Topic standards) and strongly rooted in stakeholder perspectives.

A cooperation agreement between EFRAG and GRI ensures far-reaching content interoperability with the ESRS.
