TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)

International framework for climate-related financial disclosures, now integrated into ISSB S2 and ESRS E1.

In 2017 the TCFD released a globally recognised framework for climate-related financial disclosures, structured around four pillars: governance, strategy, risk management, and metrics & targets.

Since 2023/2024 the TCFD recommendations have been fully integrated into the ISSB standard IFRS S2; ESRS E1 also closely follows the TCFD structure.
