Product Carbon Footprint (PCF)

Greenhouse gas balance of a single product over its full life cycle.

The Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) measures the greenhouse gas emissions of a single product — typically 'cradle-to-gate' (up to factory gate) or 'cradle-to-grave' (through end of life). Relevant standards include ISO 14067 and the GHG Protocol Product Standard.

PCFs are increasingly requested by customers, investors and CBAM and form the basis for product-level decarbonisation decisions.
