The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a partnership between CDP, the UN Global Compact, WRI and WWF. It provides companies with a science-based methodology to set climate targets aligned with the Paris Agreement.
A validated SBT signals credibility to investors, customers and the public. In 2024/2025 SBTi revised its standards (v2), sharpening the requirements for Scope 3 and net-zero.
